Due to a security vulnerability fix, Wordpress has been updated to version 2.0.7. There are no other significant updates in this release.

Drupal, on the other hand, the open source community CMS for those who…well, like complicated but powerful CMS’, has reached version 5.0. According to Drupal development team, the new version includes “major usability improvements, a new Drupal core theme, a web-based installer, and expansion of the Drupal development framework that will afford themers and contributing developers even greater flexibility and power.” Personally, I’ve tried Drupal in the past but I’ve never been quite happy with it; I’ll make sure to give it another go with this new release.
